Availability of a T-trac in the UK

Dieter Schmidt (also German) has them and ships to the UK. Don't know the UK rate, but the rate for The Netherlands is pretty reasonable.

Hi dutchie,

Thank you for the link, but it is quite expensive vs what I have managed to find. Their price is €33.90 for a 1600mm track and €18.75 for the 1500mm track I found. That is nearly 50% difference.

Seen them, Unfortunately like many things from rutlunds are Imperial and aimed at US market and not European On top of it their house range "Dakota" is of 4 out of 10 rating. The tracks they have to offer are utter rubbish for what i need them. Track I am looking at is to accept festool rail clamps.

Have you tried the tracks from Rutlands since you call them utter rubbish? If you read the reviews you'll see they're top rated and they fit Festool clamps (the ½" tracks that is)

I've got them and I'm quite happy with them...fine quality to me and they fit my FSZ clamps.

Kind regards
Henrik

I think utter rubbish is a little harsh ..I've bought the rutlands ones for my workbench and they are really nice and all my festool and woodpecker clamps fit perfectly .Im very happy with them .resonably priced too .(think they was on offer when I bought them got a pack of 4) so 10 out of 10 for me

Hi EV,

If you want the track to take the Festool clamps then Incra track is perfect. Try the Woodworkers Workshop:

http://woodworkersworkshop.co.uk/

I have some of the Incra track and I am sure that it appears in one or more of my videos.

Morning VW Mick. (I like that) I must admit that I have not come across the ½" Dakota track before on Rutlants web site. I guess I should've looked before jumping t conclusions. It has been a long time since I have been on their website.

If you can and have time, could you please measure the internal apertures for me please. I would like to thank you in advance.

Kind regards

EV.

Morning Peter, Thank you for your reply. I like the look and quality of Incra products and as such have a few of them to. I bought T-rules few years back, both 150mm and 300mm set from Rutland. I have also purchased a mitre track fence from the states to use with my router table.

Now Getting back to Incra T-track. Do you know if www.woodworkersworkshop.co.uk do a quantity discount? Say if I want to buy 6-8 lengths of 1200mm track. Rutlands obviously do this. which is basicaly saves them in unwrapping and wrapping costs so they pass the saving on to the consumer.

Hi EV

I think that most retailers are worth approaching as far as discounts are concerned. I am sure that Woodworkers Workshop are worth a try - I have found them to be very helpful and efficient so try giving them a call.
