Battery life sys lite 1

Purchased sys liters at the recon sale for the kids. Daughter took hers camping and after an overnight charge it lasted a half hour. The lite is not home yet. Anything I should check when I get it back home. I haven't heard that the other 2 have issues. Using it with the battery it came with. Thoughts?

It should last longer than that.

I bought a recon syslite years ago.  It's been sitting in my shop for months and my wife just used it over the weekend with no trouble.
It's honestly been a very long time since I remember charging the syslite. 

I would contact Festool service and send it back.

The old 6 LED Syslite was good for 90 minutes on high and 240 minutes on low. The new 12 LED  version is supposed to have even longer run times.

There are many types of Lithium compounds used to make batteries.  i.e. Lithium Titanate, Lithium Iron Phosphate, Lithium Manganese Oxide, Lithium Cobalt Oxide, Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide, Lithium Nickel Cobalt Aluminum Oxide.  This technology is very rapidly changing.  Pity Samsung have not got their recipe sorted out yet...  [oops]
