hello, iam a new member and ive got a problem with my tool.
ive got the festo t15+3 (494374) and i wanna change my battery. i bought two new ones (BPC 15 Li-Ion, 5.2 Ah, 500434) but when i put them in the machine they dont work. after two seconds drilling they beep 3 times. is there any change that they will work?

the older ones where BPS 15 Li with 2.6 Ah (494661).

thx in advance

They should work. All existing LiIon 15 volt batteries should work with the T15. 500434 is listed on the Festool website as the current battery for the T15.

Probably stating the obvious here, but did you charge them?

Festool also uses a keyed system to check for battery compatibility. If you can insert a battery in a tool then it is the right battery. If it is not the right battery then you can't insert it (fully).

thank you. i charged both with the original charger but it havent changed anything.
i bought two of them and each one make the same  3 beep sound when they are in.
in the manual you can read the the 3 beeps standing for battery failure....

whats the difference between BPC and BPS?
thank you

I think the main difference between BPC and BPS is the added belt clip on the newer types. I don't know if there's an internal difference also, except for the capacity.

Now I think of it, I have both a set of BPS 15 (2.6 Ah) and BPC 15 (2.6 Ah) for my own T15 and they all work just fine.

It would be odd if you had battery failure with 2 batteries at the same time. I think you're best off giving Festool or your dealer a call tomorrow.

As Alex said. I have both batteries the same he has and both work fine in my T15+3 and TI 15 impact drill for that matter so I interchange them frequently no problems. I'd return them or take them and your drill into the Festool store and get the sales rep to try them in front of you. Perhaps there is a small damage to the drills connectors and the batteries aren't seating correctly.
