Belated hello from Atlantic Canada

I've been lurking for a while and didn't realize I hadn't said hi yet. Hello!

I've been doing woodworking only a few years.  Most of the projects so far are slap-dash with mostly dimensional or S4S, although I do break down the occasional sheet good with a Triton track saw.  For Festool, I've only got the Midi and the clamping elements.  Everything else is a mix of cheaper tools.

I'm trying to figure out what I need to organize a small workshop as I'm currently working out of some DeWalt TStaks and the Makita classic Tanos and random mobile work tables.

Thanks for the welcome Brian.  I'm smack dab in the middle of the Halifax peninsula.  Say, do you have any suggestions on getting second hand Festools or parts on this end of the country?  I've only dealt with Lee Valley and kinda wish there was a more active non-retail presence here.

Once in a while someone is selling used Festool products on Kijiji.  They don’t come up that often. 

If you are interested in trying a particular tool, let me know, I likely have it.

Hello from the U.S this my first post , but I saw your from Halifax and had to say its my number one on my list of places to visit .. not only the beauty of the island but the chance to visit Sunnyvale trailer park is just to much to resist .

Well, when the craziness is over, come visit the 'ocean's playground'.  I've been here for well over a decade and it still hasn't gotten old.  Partly due to the nice scenery all around NS, but also the nice friendly people.

We Maritimers feel very blessed.  We have very few active cases of Covid, a good quality of life, and lots of natural beauty.  Here is a photo from my morning bike ride.  Three of the best hockey players in the world are from Halifax- Brad Marchand, Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnnon.

And the trailer park boys lol, We are planning a visit she has been wanting to get to maine so I suggested Halifax  .. actually made some donairs just the other day
