A test fit of the back without the slats installed. In the legs the slots were cut with a 6mm bit with the domino 500 and then cut wider (7mm)on the router table for the side and back panels. The mortises were also cut with a 6mm bit on the widest setting to fasten the rails, made my own dominos for the rails 6mm x 29mm the mortises for the slats were cut with a 5mm bit.

Test fit of back with no slats.

Is the bench for your niece or is the bench nice... or is your niece nice?  [big grin] [big grin] [big grin]

Please accept my apologies, I'm OCD and couldn't help myself...

The LS Positioner makes it handy when you need your workpiece slid over just a hair!!

To the OP, good looking bench you made yourself there!  Like the classic wood look with the white paint.

Cheers. Bryan.

Don't sweat Kev when he sees a bright light or a shiny object he'll be so mesmerised by it he'll forget everything.

No bright lights or shines objects?

A good cartoon does the same thing
