So I recently hijacked another thread asking about tool belts and or vests. The Occidental suspenda-whatever system seemed interesting to me but i came across this guy and it might better suit my needs, I'll get the black version of course. My one concern is that I'm not a fan of their accessories and was curious as to wether or not I could attach perhaps an occi three pouch system for fasteners. Anyways check out the video and tell me what you think.

it looks great.

i cant see it being suitable for me personally. i like to hang my paslode framing/finishing gun off my belt.
i dont like their accessories either.
but its a cool idea.
i am sure there will be carpenters that either love it or hate.
maybe it will be more suitable for electricians and plumbers.

You may want to check out this vest. Works well for me, I have the Skillers, since my belly got too big to wear a tool belt comfortably.  [embarassed] Thanks to Dan Clark for the info originally.

+1 on the Skillers vest and accessories.  Been using it for a bout 2 months now and it's super comfortable and takes all the load off my lower back, which is where my old belt was killing me.  Only downside is you cannot get a drill holster in the US for it, however I rigged a different brand for it and it works great.  You can wear it over a t-shirt in the summer, and when winter comes it has an expandable flap so the same vest will fit over your jacket/sweatshirt etc.  Brian at Repcon, the owner? manager? and Harriet are great to work with. 800 325 8707

As Rookie08 says in previous post, you can wear comfortably in either the summer, lightweight mesh, or use the expander to wear over a coat in winter.

the one in the video I posted you can freeze a water bladder and put it in a compartment on the back. Cant get much cooler than that.
