It is no secret that have been in conversation with TSO Products in advance of their most recent two product releases.
I received an email from today and I will post it below:
Hello Peter
I need to ask for your help in recruiting 5 serious and active US based woodworkers (on the FOG) to serve as evaluators of a BETA field test project for our new MTR-18 Precision Triangle tool.
Next week we’ll start with production of a small quantity of our new MTR-18 Precision Triangle to be used in BETA field testing.
To make sure it has passed muster with at least a small group of serious woodworkers we want to place some units in the hands of actual users.
Would you be willing to help recruit at least (5) woodworkers who are
· Using MFT-3 or similar home-made workbench tops with 20mm holes on 96mm Centers
· Able and willing to use our new tool over a two week BETA work-out at their own location
· Prepared to report their findings and recommendations to us upon completion of the two-week field test period
In appreciation of the contribution of selected evaluators we will send each of them a final production version of the tool with our thanks.
The purpose of our new tool is provide
· Precision angular reference for 90 degree square
· Additional definitive angular stop-pin reference for 10, 15, 22 ½ and 45 degrees
· Enable use on flat surfaces or edges via an easily removable and practical Precision Foot
· Keep the tool simple by eliminating engraved scales and markings
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Hans has asked that based on my experience I help him vet out testers and that the vetting process be done prior to Saturday. (They want to move quickly).
So, if you meet the requirements and are willing to be considered for the limited group of five and LIVE IN THE US please respond here by the end of the day Friday, 9/23/2016.
I will help TSO decide on five beta testers.
I receive no compensation for any of this. I will be a beta tester just like I have been for their other products.
