I have one and have used it to align my table saw and jointer and planer.  Its versatile and well made.  Pricey, but you get what you pay for.  I went with the dial version, but may spring for a digital read-out at some point.  Ordered it direct and had it within 2 days.

I have one. It's a great tool for WW machine setup. Some alignment tools, by virtue of their size, are better suited to machine tool setup. I use the Betterley for jointer and table saw alignment. Also router table fence alignment.

I've never used the Betterley but I do have and use one of these, and can recommend for machine setup.
