Hi , I have a composit deck project coming up.
What Blades would you recommend for the Kapex,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and also ts55eq for ripping the composit.
Thanks Joe Dirt

I've done what you're doing, I've used the solid surface/laminate blade on the Kapex and the aluminum/plastic on the TS55. However, the stock blades on both saws will work if you're looking to save the bucks on new blades.

The blades Brice recommended are good options. Remember to set the speed according to the guide on the saw and blade for the best results.

As a general rule adjusting the speed for different blades/materials is a good practice.  For composite decking you don't need to worry about adjusting the speed of the saw, full speed works fine.  At least that's my experience with Trex, Azek and Timbertech.

For a dock I did last year with Wolf decking (same as Azec except cheaper) I used this for fasteners.

It was pretty much invisible and amazing how strong these little screws held at 45 degree angles.  I got them at my local lumber yard, but, are now at the big box places.
