I picked up the Bluetooth kit today. I can’t get it to recognize the remote. It works with tools although some of the drills don’t work correctly with it.

Also, how does the ct and kapex work using generator power?

Huh? The BT is in the batteries, not the tools, right?

Did you follow this;
?

If the generator puts out a real sinus, the CT and Kapex will work just as well as on mains power.

My cordless saw works perfect. The TID doesn’t work at all, my PDC will kick vac on but the vac stays on until turned off from auto. I can’t get the little manual remote to work at all.

When I picked up the Bluetooth module, some guys were talking about a generator messing up the electronics in some of there tools, how would one see if it was a true sine curve?  I know a Honda generator is electronics safe

One day I’m outside working pull out the ts55 and it runs fine for a day. The next day the TS wouldn’t start. I wind up getting a service ticket send it in and they find nothing wrong with it. I get it back, it won’t run. Turns out someone, me, switched the generator, a Honda one of the larger one not the little suit case type, to auto throttle mode. Saves fuel that way but it also won’t throttle up when you pull the TS55 trigger. I assume the soft start system in the saw didn’t draw enough current to trigger throttle up and with out full throttle it wouldn’t run. Switched auto throttle off and it worked fine. I let service know this just in case someone else had the same problem. FYI

I just bought the Bluetooth for my ct26 and married the button to the module, works great. Maybe the ones not working just need a newer battery?
