My local shops (out on the battle lines) have not seen any yet.  But I can see that the mail order suppliers have turned over stock after selling out and having the inventory replenished.    [huh]

I had my local dealer set one aside for me when I heard they were finally coming to the US - It IS a very nice thing to have, not hard to install. While I was at it, I bought a battery with Bluetooth on it as well. It will make using the TSC 55 and Carvex slicker. Always was a pain - this makes it nicer.

I like the switch on the hose - so often I need just a little more suction to clean up something and the vacuum has already shut off. Happy camper - and not too expensive, either...

I checked WoodCraft today, and they have the new brochures out, but no product (neither the bluetooth or new 36mm hose).  And they wonder what drives sales to online dealers.

I've been to three brick and mor target dealers in the last couple of days who were already sold out of the remote. It seems like the initial supply was not that big, or they just underestimatedon't the demand.

Just put the order in for the Bluetooth and remote switch. Cannot wait - should make using it with the TSC easier and also floor sweeping and general show cleanup.

Question - I plan on using this mostly with the larger 36mm hose, but is it easy to swap between 27mm and 36mm hoses? I know that it comes with two sleeves. I also know I can order more remote switches if need be. Just curious how easy it is to take it on and off. Thanks

It is very easy to attach and detach the switch to the hose and elastic straps are supplied for both hose sizes.

Its pretty easy to swap the remote, just dont lose the rubber straps. Personally though Id just order a remote for each hose you really need one on. Thankfully I only needed a remote on one hose, but if I had felt a need to have one on multiple I think it would have been a whole more convenient to just have one on each. Even with two remotes ordered its still less money than the previously available third party remote.

I preordered mine from Beaver in the middle of March. Now I see everyone using them, I don't even have a shipping notification.  Bullsh**.

Rule of thumb....always order new products from TOOLNUT, Shane knows how new product launches work, I think there is some prior work experience.

I attached my remote to the MFT table leg until my new hose from Beaver arrives late this month.

The remote works great and it is one of the features I wanted to add to the CT....maybe a larger demand that Festool originally anticipated.

I should be receiving my bluetooth/remote today, bought fr use on my AC36 for times when I'm hand sanding.  That being said, I've had my vacs connected to remotes for years.  I currently have three different areas where the my remotes have three 15A receivers.  I can control my vacs and lights from one switch.  My home bound table saw has two separate vacs, one for below and one for the overarm and another receiver for the LED task lighting at the saw.  The transmitter hangs from my over arm guard by a super mag so I can use it off the saw when sanding.

Par for the course.  In my experience, if Beaver has it, you'll get it quick.  If they don't, you won't be notified and you'll have to chase
them down on the phone.
