I am looking for some recommendations for Books or DVDs for Kitchen Cabinet Making.    Have you read anything you can suggest that goes in depth on good quality cabinet construction?
Thanks!

Norm Abrams (The New Yankee Workshop) did a great series on building kitchen cabinets. I believe the DVD set is still available.

Here are a couple by Gregory Paolini.  I have the first one and it was really helpful.  Have had the 2nd one on my wishlist for awhile, but haven't purchased it yet.

I recommend one additional book: Illustrated Cabinetmaking, "How to Design and Construct Furniture That Works" by Bill Hylton.  I agree with Eric's recommendation on "The Complete Cabinet Maker's Reference" by Jeffrey Piontkowski.

Edited to add another book: "The Complete Kitchen Cabinetmaker" by Bob Lang.

Depends if your building frameless of american style face frame.

Paul Levines Book and Video (if you can find it)

Jim Tolpins book

Danny Proulxs (rip) book series , cabinet making, doors and drawers.

Greg Paolinis book which comes with a video.

If your using festools Joseph Fusco has a great video series on U Tube ( I used his as the basis for my box construction).

Here are Joseph Fusco's Cabinet Making Videos: [thumbs up]

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3 - Edge Banding (The manual way... I'm going to be using KA65!)

Part 4 - LR 32

Part 5a - Carcass Assembly A

Part 5b - Carcass Assembly B

There you have it. A full course!  Enjoy. [big grin]

Cheers,

Frank

I use Joe Fusco's techniques, and my favorite is using the pin nailer to hold everything tight until you can put in some screws.
