So I started assembling my Boom Arm.  The documentation sux bad.  I see people were complaining about this in 2007.  You'd think they would have fixed the documentation by now.

Regarding the small "radiator hose clamp", can someone post a pic showing where this goes?  I've seen two explanations in search but still don't get it.

Thanks.

That's a great review but doesn't show the clamp in question.

This is the type of clamp I'm talking about:

Are you installing it on CT22/33 or CT-26/36? As I remember that clamp hold lower side of metal pipe in place. CT26/36 doesn't need it anymore. I removed it when switched to newer vac

Yes, the hose clamp was installed just below the mounting bracket for the cord wrap on the handle of the older CT22/33s.  Clamped up against the underside of that bracket, that hose clamp prevented the Boom Arm's vertical tube from possibly lifting up and becoming disengaged from the slot in the handle's bottom bracket (which could be catastrophic).

I don't own one of the newer CTs, but from looking at the drawing on EKAT it appears that Victor is correct, as it looks like the handle for the newer CTs doesn't have a bracket for the hose clamp to interact with.
