I've had a Photography style Boom arm sitting in its box on the floor of my garage since I bought it two years ago.  For those FOGers that have installed a boom arm please tell me where I can find a connector for putting two CT26 hoses together and get a longer cord.  I you can, links are appreciated.  I already ordered some 3d printed clips that keeps the cord next to the hose

Hi,
I hope it's OK to piggyback on this thread.

Will the Festool 493047 Hose Sleeve adaptor linked above connect a D27/32 hose with a D36/32 hose?

I have a second large-diameter hose that I primarily use for general shop clean up but have considered setting up a sliding track to suspend a hose above my work table.

Thank you!

hi, yes all hose ends that connect to the vac are the same size, however you will still need  the correct rotating connector for your hose size

Hi,
I looked up the Festool 493047, which was suggested, and saw that it is described as a D50/D50 connection. This led me to infer that it is primarily meant to interconnect the large 50mm hoses.

I see the note about replacing the rotating connector on the smaller-diameter hoses you may already own.

Is there no more convenient way to interconnect two identically sized hoses, such as the D27/32 hose that ships with a CT-26 system?

Is there no more convenient way to interconnect two hoses, such as the D27/32 hose that ships with a CT-26 system and a supplementary mid-sized D36/32 hose?

Thank you!

The hose that comes with the CT 26 is D 27 millimetre. If you have one of the newer version hoses, check inside the plastic connector that plugs into the dust extractor for a reduced diameter sleeve. This is designed to directly accept the tool end of a D 27 or D 36 millimetre hose. If you don't have that design, you can replace the tool end of one of the hoses with another vacuum end, and use the connector 493047.

However, Festool provides a D 50 x 2.5 m extension hose 452888 for use with their boom arm. The larger diameter hose for an extension could be much better than two D 27 millimetre hoses end to end. There is also a 4 m version available - 452890. With either of these, you still need the connector linked above.

Hi, sorry for the wrong information the 32mm hoses, I was stuck on 27mm and 36mm,32mm just hook together no sleeve required
