I can't help myself I have to post this. It just seems so insane to me. What exactly is someone giving their child here?
We were at Targe' saturday picking up toys for the Toys for Tots ride yesterday when I saw this in the aisle. There is also a cordless drill tool. The Chainsaw was $12.29. Pull the trigger the chain rotates around and the thing makes noise.

What's wrong with a toy chain saw?  Construction toys are our neighbor kids favorite things.  They are twin boys.  They've got dump trucks and front end loaders and power tool toys galore.  In fact, I may go looking for that chain saw for them for Christmas.

HH,

Great for cutting down those plastic palm trees.  Also, if he wants to dress up as Leatherface for Halloween, he's got a head start on the costume.

My 4 year old daughter got a toy chainsaw just like that a couple years ago.  She loves it, the dog not so much!!

When I was younger I had a toy chainsaw that when you pulled the recoil it made noise.  It was my favorite toy.

One day my mother got mad at me for misbehaving and snapped the blade off of it, I never forgave her for that.

Moral of the story, its a fantastic toy unless you have a mentally unstable mother that scars you for life and then your kid ends up turning out like me and spending all your money on fancy tools.
