Just interesting,why this saw and planer is not available in the US?

Don't know about the saw.
Previous generations of that larger planer with the accessory feet used to be available in the US. I know because I used to have one until someone liked it more than I did and stole it out of my truck. That planer is essentially the next step up from the $99-$119 Bosch base model planer available at all the big box stores. I pretty sure big orange carries that Planer but can't say absolutely. As I recall that Planer pushes $200 in cost.

I have that planer, or it's American version. It's for sale too! Brand new condition. Tried it once nicked a nail so one new blade is needed.
