I recently sold my Carvex and picked up the Bosch JS572EBL. I absolutely love it but want to buy the guide rail and circle cutter attachments for it. Unfortunately those accessories aren't available in the United States.

Does anyone know of a good, trusty seller than I can go through to import the KS 3000 and FSN Professional attachments?

Also, has anybody made their own guide rail attachment for other jigsaws to fit to the Festool rails?

Timberwolf in Maine sell Mafell rails.
Mafell make rails for Bosch, or it is the other way around.
I ordered Bosch rails as that is what they have "in-country" (Aus), and all my Mafells glide with no issue.
I even put one of the rails on my MFT/3 ;)

The FSN OFA kit 800 you can get from dictum.de in germany, and is worth a look for the routers.
Just type in google.de and then search.

I'm just looking to purchase the accessories in the picture I put in this post. Do you know if that website you mentioned ships to North America?

They ship to Australia...
I would call them, or use the web site.
There is a tab for language, and a tab for "no VAT".
I usually call if it gets complicated.

They definitely ship to NA too, just didn't see the accessory I was looking for on their website. But I'll be using this one for other things, thanks!

Does anyone else know of websites that I could get those accessories from?

Did you check if the Makita one would work? Their rail is most similar to the Festool rail, and it's just a simple bar perpendicular to the rail that you would lock in place with a set screw.

Wow that's very similar to the carvex circle attachment , surprised Bosch can do that without infringing copyright

I haven't been able to find it online through a seller but I would almost bet that Lawson HIS would get it for you and ship it.  I got my Bosch holy rails from them.  It looks a lot more solid then the standard flat rod guide.

I would be interested in one as well if you find a source.  (and cost)

I do have the bocsh rail attachment that fits the festool rail as well.  I also modified one to fit on the cordless circ saw. ( use the boch/mafell rails)

A) it's effectively just a base and a tape measure. Very difficult to have intellectual property rights on something like that.

B) do you know for certain that Bosch haven't had this longer than Festool?

It looks like you essentially cut the "handle" looking part off the attachment. I may just modify that myself or modify a Festool guide adapter for one of their numerous rail compatible tools.

How does the Bosch jig you have work for circles? I really like the look of the attachments I posted as they are essentially the Festool version which seems to be the best attachment for the Carvex.

I've continued to look for a source for the Bosch KS 3000 attachments to ship to the United States but have not been able to find a website yet.

I wonder if a nice fellow FOGgers would be interested in playing the "middle" man.

No but it's the first time I've seen the Bosch one and I've seen the festool one online for years so at a wild guess I'd say it's newer.

I don't care either way just curious

It's OK.  I don't use it a lot as I have a big jig to use with my router and I don't cut a lot of big arches etc.

What I like about the KS 3000 FSN guide is that it looks like it would eliminate any twist that is common with the rod.  And the offset on the rail is set and the same every time.

Well, I haven't been able to find a website that ships to NA so I'm going to try to rig the Trion guide rail attachment. If I can't then fortunately there is a friend here on the forum that has offered to be the middle man.

Slightly off topic, [member=1584]joiner1970[/member] how do you like your JS572EBL?

I haven't got one. I do have a very similar Bosch jigsaw not sure what model it is. I got it free as a demo from Bosch . I'm sure I did a review on it here somewhere . It's ok but I don't use it that often prefer my carvex.

So [member=7673]neeleman[/member] was kind enough to not only offer to import the KS 3000 kit for me but he did it speedily as well.

I'm cutting on orbital setting 0 so no forward pushing of the blade which is why it might seem slow. I haven't used the circle cutting attachment yet but here's a video of how the guide rail adapter worked out...
