I recently repurchased this drill a few days ago and it's taken no time to remind me how much I love it. Dare I say more so than my beloved CXS? That's for another discussion. At any rate, there are only two knocks on the PS31 for me and admittedly, the thoughts might be due to being spoiled by Festool drill features.

The PS31 (unlike it's brushless brother the PS32) does not have a belt clip or bit holder. It also doesn't have these as optional upgrades. Both features are huge to me, personally, so I set out the fix the issues. Here's what I came up with...

And it still fits nicely into my current drill systainer combo...

I used to use the little Bosch 12v tools and liked them, especially the flash light that's an excellent well made tool of theirs. But what spoilt it for me was the low amperage on the 12v Bosch batteries, at the time they were only producing 1.3ah, that's Ok-ish on a drill but no good on that multi tool of theirs. That tool would just eat through batteries. Last time I checked Bosch were selling 1.5ah batteries maybe they have 2.0 now. There was also a lack of choice in there tool range.
I made the switch over to Milwaukee because of the vast tool range and also the 3 and 4ah batteries, they also fit perfectly into a systainer, Lol.

Bosch makes 2Ah and 4Ah batteries for their 12v line of tools.

I have many of their 12v tools.  I think they perform well and are well priced.
