I have this identical unit and it is FANTASTIC. A bonus is that this is metal so is conductive and the AS hose continues to perform as designed unlike some plastic versions. The metal bucket has a really nice sealing gasket and easy to use clamp. Nick's price is excellent also as shipping from Oneida was not cheap. Highly recommended.

I will measure it.  :)

About 28" to the very tip top.

The hose will add height. Even if you bend it down so I think you need to add on at least 6more inches for clearance.

Okay one buyer is deciding to go plastic so I have one all metal Dust Deputy left for sale.

Nick sorry about not replying sooner. On a trip and just got to my motel.
Still thinking seriously about it. I have the version that sits on the CT33 that I have.
What I don't like about it as stated by PeterK, is I get the ppssss shocked out of me,
especially when cutting fiber cement and even sanding in this dry weather. I have copper tape
and straps all over that thing and still get bit. Can't seem to get it grounded right.
That's with Festool hoses hooked to it, it's a weak link. They work really well, I just get
tired of the pain...

No problem. Yep the steel is better. I have told people that they really need to ground the plastic and the Festool units, but until you get a big shocker it's tough to believe it makes a difference, it does!

I sold one unit and was not going to sell the other, but you know it has been sitting under a bench and I never used it so I am thinking what is going to change now to make me hook it up..

So take your time thinking about it, if I sell it great, if not that's fine too. It's one of those items that I am on the fence about anyway.  :)

Nick,

I'm looking for a garage.  Is yours cleaned out enough that it's for sale and I can just pull right in?  [big grin]
