Mounting them with cleats, using venear edgebanding, to cover the core. Also I was going to just use a sheet of plywood for the face with edgebanding, no frame at all. What do you guys think do you think it would be a quailty product. Do you think there would be any movement? I've been a carpenter for the last decade, just never had a opportunity to build cabinets. Also I was going to use the surfix oil kit for the the finish, probally the one step?

Save yourself a lot of trouble and get prefinished plywood.

All the per finished maple I have seen has a really high gloss finish and it's not my thing.
