I'm at a loss for this.
Cabinet is an upper. 36 inches tall, 27 inches wide overall. There are doors on the top part of the cabinet and the opening for the built-in micro is on the bottom of the cabinet. I have enough room in depth an width but not enough height.
The trim kits for microwaves all specify 19+ inch height requirement. I have only 18 inches from bottom of doors above the opening to the very bottom edge of the cabinet. When I received the cabinet, there was a blank finished piece covering the opening.
Is it normal to have to custom cut that blank and use it for the trim? Or is there trim kit specific for frameless that I'm unable to find yet?
