I am in the process of selling my business, as well as selling my equipment, whichever comes first. I have been in the cabinet business for just over four years, and have accumulated a lot of Festool items. I hate to part with it, but I know it will find a good home here. These items include the following: TS55 Plunge Cut Saw, Domino DF500 Joining Set, RO 125 FEQ Rotex Sander, OF1400 EQ Plunge Router, Shop Vacs CT22, CT Midi, CT Mini, 2 ETS 150/5 Sanders, RS 2 E Sander, ETS 125 EQ Sander, C12 and TDK 12 Drills, Various Systainers, Vacuum Set, Systainer Rolling Cart. All of these Festool items have been used in the running of my shop. Some used more than others, but none have been abused.

If someone is wanting to start a cabinet shop, or relocate, this is a great opportunity. Take a look at the attachment for more equipment that is for sale. And if you are interested, send me an email, and I will reply. The shop is located in Rock Hill, SC, just south of Charlotte, NC.

*****Update: I have sold the OF1400 Router, and the RS2E Sander, and have shipped them both to a member in Michigan. I have also sold other items that are listed in the PDF that is attached. The biggest and best news is that I have sold the CNC Router, which will be picked up on the 18th. I apologize again for not responding as quickly as I should have to requests, but I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get the CNC sold. I have had man requests, and am still looking to sell all of the Festool items listed (I am keeping a few pieces), as well as what is in the PDF attachment.

Guy's
I can attest to the tools and Chris. This is a great opportunity for someone to save a little on some great cared for Festool.

Taos.

It is listed in the PDF included. The price for the C22 is 392, and the Domino is 600. I also have a lot more tools listed in the PDF, if you need more tools or equipment.

will you ship things?  obviously, I would pay for shipping.

oh, and if you don't mind me asking, why are you getting out?

Yes I will ship the items listed. If it can go UPS or FedEx, and if need be, motor freight or courier. I am getting out of being a business owner, because I am a new dad, and do not want the next 10 years spent on building my business, to the point that I can let someone else run it, and miss out on all of the things that I would having a child. My dad has been in this business since I was a little kid, and it was a struggle for him to spend time with me as a child. I experienced firsthand, what happens when a parent is a business owner. I am staying in the industry, going back to work for him, with all that I have learned now being an asset and skill set that he and his business needs. It will truly be a family business.

When these postings first appeared I sent at least two messages to each of the posters regarding purchasing one of the sanders.  There have been no replies.  Did you guys not receive my messages?

Congratulations on making the right decision Chris. This way you can inherit the keys to the Old Boy's business right when your son needs a high school job as a laborer!

Best of luck Chris. Someone who is looking out for the welfare of their family first deserves good luck.

You can never get those years back and the kids grow up SO FAST!

I work for myself(by myself), but no longer run a company with employees where I have to monitor them and leave from 5:00 am to midnight 7 days a week.

My kids are so used to seeing me all the time they take it for granted, but I will have so many memories, I already do. For my first 2 kids I was not home much and learned my lesson. And with Dominick being so sick for many years I really had no choice.

Actually, where I live if I worked for someone else I would barley see the kids because of the drive time alone. So working for my own business actually gives me more time with the family, sometimes to much. It's tough working at home and so easy to get distracted. And I eat to darn much, I have gained 30 pounds in less than 5 years!

But the time with the kids is worth it.

Are all items listed still available?  Can you update the list and prices and re-post?
Best of luck in the new venture.

Chris, Best to you and your family.  I sometimes wish I had your wisdom 20 years ago.

Dan

I bought the R2SE and the OF1400 from Chris, and I am very pleased with them.  It seems that he took very good care of them, as they are in great shape.  Thank you Chris.

Here is a list of what is still available: the RO125 EQ sander, the CT22 & CT Mini vacs, the ETS125 EQ sander, 2 TDK 12 drills (both types), the Systainer rolling cart, and a few vacuum clean up sets (1 in a SYS1 the other in a box. The CNC router is being shipped out Tuesday. I will update the attachment showing the other items either Monday or Tuesday. And I may have time to enter this month's contest.
