Buy a 36mm hose or the cleaning set

Is this is a no brainer? Was going to pick up a new 36mm hose as I was planning on pulling the trigger on a new OF 2200.
Do most people just buy the cleaning set instead? This one in particular: Cleaning Set RS-HW D 36-PLus. It's $70 more than just the hose alone.

Seems like it is worth it for the systainer alone plus the cleaning set is handy if you don't already have it

Wow, that kit has gone up in price. Knowing prices were increasing on the 4th, I purchased the kit with the metal wands and it was $319. Now, the one with the plastic wands is $339. Yikes.

edit: Duh, Festool Canada. Same kit in the US is $245.

That's how I got my D36 hose, seemed like a simple equation.

For me it was a no-brainer to grab the cleaning set; I grabbed it before the price increase, so it was only $46 more than the hose alone.
Shopping now, I'd probably still be inclined to pay the extra for the set, even though I think festool hit their loyal buyers a bit too hard with the increase. The cleaning set pieces are worth it, but the big systainer really makes it a good deal. I was able to store the pieces, 36mm hose and 27/32 hose that came with my midi in there.

[member=79274]MDFDoom[/member] you made the right choice.  I have almost always purchased the set when it comes to Festool.  Only bad news is your excuses for a dirty/dusty shop are about to go away…..

Yeah, the cleaning set is almost free if you already wanted the hose.
