C-12 Battery Strength

How does holding a charge for 18 months sound? I had to come to Southern California for some medical stuff, and rented out my new house and workshop close to the Oregon border. In November 2008.

I just went up to retrieve some clothing and brought down all my Festool equipment. Both batteries on the C-12 were fine. Only took 5 minutes or so to charge each of them. Could this be the work of 'tool pixies'? Or just sound electrics!

Hi Gary,
That is another example when you can see the invested money come back to you, and see the quality difference from other tools. Our DW batteries on my job all died after 5 months of storage (someone misplaced them...).
I tried to talk over the boss to get Festool, but no way he would give out such money. Guess what I use now?
