C15 in a 4 drawer systainer

Does anyone know if its possible to fit a C15 in the large drawer of the 4 drawer systainer?  The C15 is currently in a sys1 classic.  Can I trim enough off the insert to fit it all in the drawer just like it is in the sys1?
In the absence of someone having done this, what are the internal dimensions of said drawer?

Approximately 11" x 14" x 3"

I checked out putting the insert in once but I don't remember if it worked well (it was also the older NiCd). However the drill set will definitely go without the insert.  The batteries will not fit on there side with the belt hook installed , but will fit without it. So with the hook installed on the battery you can not leave one in the drill. They will fit with the hook the other way. I am pretty sure the battery will not fit on it's side even without the hook in the insert.
