The cross linker used was 0.32 ounces per quart of finish. The cross linker is first mixed 50/50 with deionized water.

Back in the 90'ties when I was still working in my father's spray shop we had a furniture factory next door who exclusively worked with MDF and we had to spray all their work. Can't remember which paint we always used, but it was a high solid water based paint.

You guys still have way better products than we do over here.

The Gen II has solids at 45.5% by volume, 64.3% by weight.

Did you thin at all?

Was this the Clear, Crystal clear top coat or the pigmented?

Spraying with a PPS setup or a pressure pot?

Lastly, they state to thin with deionized water...and as you stated they want the crosslinker mixed with it as well. Did you actuality use deionized water? I thought distilled had the some of the same properties. I have not really seen deioniozed water other than online for $$$ since it is used a lot in chemestry.

I am playing around with a free gallon on some baseboard.  So far I've tried a chinex and a nylon polyester. 

It's hard to let this stuff go, but it definitely does flow out on its own.

[member=59039]mrFinpgh[/member] nothing special...just what we would use on a latex trim package. Purdy XL Dale or Glide. 2" is my go to for most things. I know what you mean...its a game of lay it out and leave it...
