Can you mount the TS-LS incra on an MFT/3 table ?

It can be done.  [smile]

I have customer who used my Rail Dogs to mount and align the Incra LS with the holes. Now I have Mini Rail Dogs available which would work too.

He then uses some Festool Screw Clamps to secure it to the table top.

Once it is setup, you can use it as an adjustable stop that accurately measures and cuts the workpiece. In the picture below he is also using Qwas Dogs to insure alignment and a Festool Clamping element to insure the workpiece doesn't move.

Sorry but I don't wholesale. I have a distributor (Bob Marino) that treats me good and in return he gets exclusive rights to sell.  [smile]

I think that was me and they work great for that. I just mounted the mini rail dogs to a plywood base which the LS is mounted on and now I can drop the positioner in anywhere I want. I usually mount my rail on mini rail dogs too along the long dimension of the mft, and then it's just a matter of setting the width on the positioner and I can cut whatever width I want.

It might have been. I was thinking it was Swedish customer but it seems like I thought that before and was wrong. If it was, perhaps he will ring in too.

Another one come from a thread post on the FOG from nesnet. He uses the LS Postioner to hold a jig for small pieces. He has nice pictures posted too.

The pictures above are from my setup.

You don't even need the clamps to fasten the LS-Positioner.
The raildogs alone are sufficient if you adjust the fence and fasten the dogs.
The Positioner base doesn't move then anymore.

The whole procedure takes less than two minutes to mount the Positioner on the MFT.

Yeah ,
Now you guys are talking about what I want to do as well   !   !    [tongue]
Steve now has his Mini Qwas rail dogs so it would be even easier to drop a Incra LS onto a MFT table .

Thanks for jumping Fridolin.  [smile] Yes you are correct, those pictures are from your setup. I believe I they were on the German forum, woodworker.de

Yes, you're right. I bought the mini rail dogs for this. I don't use any clamps.

I was thing of getting some 1/4" Al plate materiel to span 4 of the MFT's holes  then bolt the Incra LS to it (recessed  counter sunk bolts up thru the AL to the LS) & then hard mount 4 of Steve's mini rails dogs to the AL plate .

When will Bob have them back in stock then??

I've seen (somewhere) some one use a piece of plywood for the same purpose. I don't think you would need to use 1/4" aluminum, 1/8" should work fine or if you expect heavy abuse 3/16" thick would be plenty.

You could message Bob and he could possibly ship right away. If you want to order from the website, that should be almost any day now.  [smile]

I was thinking that 1/4" AL plate stock would be a easier to counter sink the bolt from up into the LS mounting flanges .

I wasn't thinking of countersunk screws.  The head requires .160" of depth so 1/8" sheets are out but the 3/16" would still work.
