Canadian Home Workshop Show

Thanks a lot for the pictures! You guys had a nice looking booth! I'm sure you guys are pretty glad it's over  ;D I know first hand how it is o tell the same story over and over again for 3 days in a row.

Dan: don't worry about bringing the tools back to BC, of course it's a bummer, but it's all about building relationships with future clients! That's how it always happens with the shows I'm going to. First you may think, crap that wasn't worth it and then a couple of weeks/months later it hits you with full force and you don't know how you can handle it!!!!

Cheers,
Andreas

Yes, I am glad to be able to rest a bit even though I really did enjoy myself at the show.

I agree with your statement that it should not be a huge concern to Dan that so mant tools went home with him.  I agree with this Kevin and that's why the second sentence in my paragraph, that is: "But, I expect that many of these same tools will find their way back to a home in Ontario."

I am fairly certain that at least 10 people that I demoed to will very shortly be placing orders. With Dan's free shipping policy, for many folks it saved them having to carry the tools, particularly the big stuff like vacs and rails home from the show, Rather, Puralator will bring the goods to them.

Frank,

You were a great help before and during the show. I really appreciate you taking care of the plywood we used for demonstration purposes, building the pegboard and your input on how to setup the booth.

On top of that you were really, really working hard to show people the Festool's and what they can do. I don't think I can thank you enough for all of your efforts!

We did well, I came with about 8 pallets worth including my demo tools and left with 5. Two of those pallets were my own tools and MFT's

I have my fingers crossed I'll get some follow up calls over the next month or two and am sure I will as many people were impressed with the product line.

It was allot of work to organize invnetory, demo tools and have them arrive at the show in time for setup when you are half way across the country and I am sure next time we could cut the setup time in half!

Andreas - I bow my head to you and all the tradeshows you do. I was exhausted at the end of mine, arrived back in Vancouver at 1AM, caught a couple of hours sleep and am now at my "other job".

When I woke up this morning and was getting ready for work my son heard me and hopped out of bed. Looks like we are gonna have to play some football together after work and get caught up!
