Carrying great tools over to Europe

Hello, i have few cordless Festool here in Canada and will be partially moving to Europe; can i just buy a battery charger in Europe and use tool and batteries intended for the Canadian market (power issue) or i need to go with power transformer? Or worst case must get the new tools?

Although it's probably unlikely with Festool given the region locking on their products, but it might be an idea to just check the input rating of the charger you have, as a lot of stuff like that now is universal input, meaning it can take 110-230vac.
