Carvex 420 - Blade storage recommendations?

OK, I just ordered a Carvex jigsaw - it might be here as soon as this Thursday. At this time I'm justing picking up the saw and some blades - have to wait a bit for the accessory kit.

I've read that the systainer doesn't offer a lot in the way of blade storage - I don't seen any blade cases offered by Festool - but maybe I missed something.

Have any of you found a favorite case that fits inside the Carvex 420 systainer for securing extra blades?
Magnets on the inside of the lid?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

I just have my used blades in the groove at the front of the case and a Festool multi pack of blades thrown in at the side in its own nice plastic case. There's lots of space if you don't mind the minor movements around the systainer if you throw it around.

Ah, that would have been the thing to order.

Non-ferrous metal cutting blades included in that multipack?

We used to get that pack here, or one very similar. It disappeared quite a while ago.

How about using an attic-sys? The Festool version isn't available INA, but the Tanos version is:

I use a zip lock Baggie and it works great!  Blades in the bag and a rubber band around the lot.

Excuse me if I'm wrong…I very well could be….

But I have at lease 3 or 4 different blades for the PS300 jigsaw and just leave the blades in the cardboard packaging that I received them in.  Take a new one out when needed…for me they

last a long time.

I don't see why they wouldn't fit in the Carvex  sysstainer, just laying loose.  Just don't go all crazy and rip all the blades out of the package once you get it.  Plus, I the PS300 systainer

has a triangle shaped place for blades and chip guards……..the Carvex systainer doesn't have one???      [scratch chin]

I use a Mini Systainer with a 5 compartment insert, but only for my "still sharp not ready to throw out blades). For the completely unused blades, I keep them in the packaging and hang the pack off a peg hook.

I place mine in the carvex accessory systainer. they fit great in there, especially when you move the angle accessory over to the carvex sys, and you have a nice space to place the packaging in. except for that I thought it would be cool if Festool would come out with a 1 row sortainer, blades would fit amazing in there and be light enough that you wouldn't mind attaching it to it permanently

Mine go in drawers of one of my 12-drawer Sortainers. I'll throw a couple in the 420 Systainer if I'm mobile.

I have the multi-packs (bought in Germany) along with a bulk set of the wood blades. (50-pack also from Germany)

Do you mean a one row Sortainer like "E" in this photo??

yes exactly, I saw it as well at lee valley. HAHA i know I'm crazy but I'm waiting till its green lol

If anyone could use some adhesive-backed Magnetic A-B tape to help secure the blades in their Systainer, let me know and I'll drop a few feet of it in the mail to you.

WARNING - might not happen until I get most of the First Aid Systainers packed and shipped. They are my first priority, of course!
