Hello all,

I am thinking of getting a C15 drill, and maybe later a cordless Carvex. Will the batteries supplied with the C15 work with the Carvex? I'm hoping to keep the chargers and batteries to a minimum.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, the C 15's batteries will work with the Carvex but the 18V Carvex batteries won't work with the C 15.

I was really surprised when I bought in to the cordless line about that but am I correct in assuming its overload protection for my T15 and TI15?

Thanks Tom,

Is there any downside other than the shorter use time for the carvex?

Also, just wanted to say a big thanks to you and the other generous members that contribute to this forum. I am north of the border from you, and you still gave me your input. You and all the other members make this a great forum.

Cheers

With 15V batteries instead of 18V, you'll loose some power but not too much. If my calculations are correct, you'll have ~5/6 power.

I think there's likely more than one reason in the electronic controls for limiting the voltage.
