I've been out using my  PSC 420 with the 15v 3mAh battery. It cuts fine through 10mm plywood. But yesterday I found out the limitaions of the 15v battery..I was making some very few cuts to 2" pressure treated stock after doing maybe 1 meter run through 10mm stock on a fully charged battery, after a very short time the machine stopped and beeped 3 times, From then on it was pretty well over for that session. Not that fun as usual I was working in a highly public spot, so my ears were red.. I don't have a spare battery yet..

Guess what I'm going to have to reaarrange my buying strategy for festools.. The MFT/3 will have to wait. (I'll make a homeade version for now.) It's the PDC 18 4.2 Quadrill that will be my next purchase. This gets me access to two 18 4.2 batteries which can be used when I'm cutting thick stock. I really needed a better cordless drill anyways..The hammer drill function will be great for the type of work I do as well.

Interesting lesson as to buying cordless tools. You will meet their limitations if you buy underspec'd versions when you do heavy work.

I'll probably end up getting a 3rd, 18v 4.2 battery later on so I will have the 15v 3 mAh battery for light use, and the three 18v 4.2 mAh for longer sessions with either the Drill or the Jigsaw or both..
