I hung out with one of my favorite FOGgers today in LA and we went to Eagle Tools. Holy crap in a sustainer, Batman! They have a great Festool area with about everything hanging on the wall. They only got me for a nice dust hose for the D36... well, of Festool stuff ;)

But, on the way out, I spotted 7 Centrotec Installers kits. Seems like everybody else is sold out so if you want one, give them a call.  If you're an Inca fan, the back room is your oyster...

I'll also say that those guys at Eagle Tool are a pleasure to do business with.  Super helpful and great service.

Now that I live on the west side of town, I hardly ever see them anymore.  Fortunately, Anderson Plywood in Culver City is als exceptional.

All I can see from this side of the Pacific pond is their awful under construction website  [huh]

C'mon guys ... I love to browse ...

Yeah, my take on their web site is that they are waiting to see if this internet thing is going to catch on or not.  Fun place nonetheless!

Wow, I was just browsing their line of tools -- that is a place I need to stay far away from!  It would be very hard not to spend big, big bucks there...  [scared]

Boy you're right on the mark on that one! It's quite the candy land for woodworkers!

I was there today and man I've never seen so many Festool tools all in one place and the staff are very nice and easy going too!

BTW, update for Paul Marcel's installer set count...they said there's 4 left...at this rate in a week or two it will down to zero. I really want one, but I don't see myself using half of it so tempted as I was I kept my eyes turned in the other direction and kept moving.    [sad]
