Chaos Theory style MFT table base

I just recently got an MFT/3 and would like to put it on a wheeled base to move around my shop more easily.  My thought is to take off the folding legs and then sit the MFT table on top of a new locking wheeled base which would bring it to outfeed table height.  To bring a little Chaos Theory into this I was thinking about instead of using a shelf going across for stability I'd use vertical supports dividing the space in half front to back and side to side which would then have shelf pin holes so I could install pull out shelves for systainers.  So the whole thing would become the storage for all my Festool tools.  I don't care about portability, just being able to move this around my shop.

Has anyone else thought about creating a MFT base with systainer shelves?  It sounds like a good idea in theory, but I'm wondering if there are any problems in practice.

Have a look at this thread, I did something similar, except using aluminium rather than wood, plus mine has a CMS unit on the end

This is another one;  Systainer MFT

I ended up removing the legs of the MFT which provided for additional storage underneath the top.  After almost 2 years of use, the only thing I would change is the small cubby on the end.  If I were to build this again, I would make a recess inset accessible from the very end for clamp storage.

Thanks folks, those are exactly the ideas I was looking for and the Steve Rowe design is almost exactly what I had in my head.  I was googling "custom mft base" and not getting any good hits, I should have been googling "mft systainer".
