Charging New Batteries on old charge

I have some new airstream batteries and the older TCL 6 charger.  Is there any problem with charging the airstream batteries on the TCL 6.  I hope they are compatible and the only issue would be more time to charge.  I could not locate this information on the FOG or on Festool's website.

If you can insert the battery into the charger then it will work without problems. Festool designs their batteries with keyed ribs so they only fit in compatible devices.
