Ho, Ho, Ho!
I recently received a mail message from Festool advertising the £50 voucher availability. This upset me a little because I had spent over £1000 on Festool tools just a month or so before and so felt compelled to air my frustration by return e-mail approx as follows..
"Thanks very much.....
Having just spent over £1000 in the last month or so on Festool tools this is about as welcome as a smack in the mouth!"
I was not expecting a reply but a few hours later I received the following from Festool's Marketing Manager
"Dear Jeffrey
Thank you for your email and we are sorry for the disappointment the recent e-newsletter has caused you. As you may be aware we run various promotions throughout the year and like many businesses we do not communicate these months in advance. We value your custom and as a gesture of goodwill we are sending you a goodie bag of Festool merchandise which should arrive with you later next week.

I promptly returned a message to express my thanks for the kind consideration and to apologise for the rant [unsure]
This morning Mr FedEx turned up with a parcel…

Thanks very much to Festool (TTS Tooltechnic Systems GB Ltd) the Cloth Carrier Bag, T-Shirt, The Festool Cap, The Mug, The Folding Rule, The pencils and the Tape measure [big grin]
How refreshing to deal with such a company.
