It's been a while since my last post, in that time I've been too busy actually using my festools rather than talking about them, they've all been great except that stupid jig saw, which I wish I had never bought, the thing is uncontrollably dangerous, but that not what I'm asking. Any how my wifes up for buying another festool for Christmas and I thinking RO 90 DX as I have a list of projects it could be put to use for. What's people's honest experience with it?
Thanks

Very versatile, would not use it for large sanding areas primarily because of the small disk size (90mm) but for tight/smallish areas works well.

Like the change over to delta as well as the two circular modes. Essentially two sanders in one.

Some complain about dust/goo build up within the dust extraction 'port' above the pad but I don't find it particularly cumbersome to keep it cleaned out.

Came in very handy for exterior window prep prior to painting.

Mini version of RO's 150 and 125, if one likes them, the 90 fits right in.

Love it.  I run a full time cabinet shop and use it primarily for sanding face frames and door stile and rails.  Never had any issues with it at all

Thanks, that helps makes my dession easier as that's exactly what I want to use it for, I just finished our kitchen cabinets exclusively using my festool collection, then built walnut face frames which I sanded with the ETS 150/3 and now I,m building the 17 doors, and 19 draw fronts out of walnut for it and I did not enjoy sanding the narrow 50mm walnut face frames with  my ETS150/3 it was the wrong tool, hence the perceived need for a narrower sander.
Apologies for posting this post here and I tools and accessories , my bad
