Circle cut on CMS VL

Is there a way to cut a circle with the CMS router set up?  I'm building a series of pasta sink drain boards and need a way to cut circles to fit a colander.  If so, do I need the set or the basic system?  I like the set but from what I can see, if you don't do coping work, it really isn't needed beyond getting the hose Y separately.

With the sliding table you could rig up a pin on a board clamped to the sliding table and then adjust the radius and tighten the table so it is not sliding.

What size circle are you trying to cut?

If it's a smaller circle you could also just attach a secondary base to the router, measure to the outside edge of the circle and put a pin in it the radius you want the circle to be.  No router table needed in that case.

I'm going to have to cut about a 12 inch circle.    I can always use a trammell but I thought it might be easier using the router table.

Howard,

You could pin the board to the MFT. I haven't made a circle with mine before, I just used the router freehand on a trammel (my MFS) and it worked a peach.

I am sure there is a slick way to do it with the table, but seems to elude me right now.

Cheers. Bryan.
