If you don't own this saw, you might be wondering why it is so expensive.  Well here's your answer.  The saw itself has great power, it's smooth, solid, accurate and easily adjustable.  What really blows me away is the guide rail.  No clamping needed, and the saw slides along the track with no chance of user error or wobble......just push down and forward and your cut will be perfect every single time.  Not only that, but the first time you use this saw on the rail, you will actually cut a small piece of plastic or rubber or someting like that so you will have the exact reference line of where your blade will cut!  It is literally more difficult to cut wrong than it is to cut perfect with this saw.  5 out of 5!

The saw is brilliant and worth every penny.

I know that the CMS-TS is not available in NA yet but I have to tell you about the most amazing cut that I did yesterday. I sometimes do rebates on my CMS-TS (which has the TS55R fitted) and made a rebate in oak that was slightly smaller than I needed. I moved the fence over by a few mm and did the two cuts again. The resulting scrap piece is a perfect right angle section of oak about 1mm thick. I don't have a photo to post here but I show it at the end of my PSC 420 Carvex video Part 2 (in the Festool review section). It is worth a look.

Didn't think it was out in Canada yet how did you get your hands on one.

My apologies.  It is the EQ model that I have.  Sorry about that.
