Tanos makes the clamp rail that attaches to the inside of a systainer lid and can hold a few tools.  I wish that Festool would make some more specialized versions of this insert, such as:

1) A clamp rail for drill systainers that would hold a few centrotec bits.
2) A clamp rail for routers that would hold a few router bits.  I don't need to carry my entire collection of router bits in a separate systainer, I just want to carry a half dozen of the ones I use most often
3) A clamp rail for jig saws that would hold a selection of blades.  The clamp rail would probably work for jigsaw blades but I expect there could be a better design if it was designed just for them.

I think this would be much more preferable to having all these items bouncing around loosely inside the systainer with the tool they work with or to have to carry additional systainers around with parts.  If they are loose they get lost.  Or, even worse, they may damage the tool or power cord.  In the case of router bits with carbide cutters, two bits can easily damage each other.

Thanks

The Tanos clamp rail will hold drill  and router bits.  Though if the router bits are large heavy ones they might slip loose.

I found that screwdrivers tended to leverage loose with the lid closed during transport due to the weight of the handle. So I doubled up the rails. With two rails they stay in.

The clamp rails can be shortened. I cut  one in two and mounted it for horizontal holding. I wanted to put long (12") drill bits in that would not fit vertically.
