what systainer, sortainer are you guys storing clamps in? I rarely ever use clamps, and the only reason is cause I have to run out to the truck and then I have to find them. If your using a systainer what kind of insert do you have in there? If it helps I'am looking to store 8"-12" clamps

Are you talking just a few to have handy for random tasks on site, or a whole bunch for really doing small size glue ups?

Mine are in various Systainers and drawers with other items.    A pair of Quick Grips with a pair of Festool 12" take about half a Sys - I with a divider for other things in the other half.  A pair of Festool Quick Clamps in a medium Sortainer drawer, and a pair of Festool 6"  in a divided Lg Drawer compartment with some Bench Cookies.

I Made a toolbox insert for a sys 4, it contains the basic set of tools including glue and rail clamps.
I find it is really a great thing to have because with regular tool boxes you throw stuff in and it ends up filled with junk and when a tool is missing you only find out when you need it on the job. With this i open the systainer and in a glimpse i can see what is missing so i have never forgotten anything on site.
the clamps are there mostly for the rail, but they are great clamps in general and ive used them for plenty other apps.

I store most of my Festool clamps and clamping elements as is done at the Festool Training Centers: each item has a Sys 1 on a slider in a Sysport. That "Clamp" Sysport rolls to the places needing clamps within my shop.

here's my install set: sys 3 with (6) Irwin quick clamps, (2) Festool quick clamps, and about (3) bundles of shims.
