I just picked up a SYS-MFT.  Are there alternatives to the festool clamps that would work? It's my first MFT style work space.  I have the dewalt track saw clamps but the leg is too long to be able to insert and pivot.

The short answer to that is sort of  [wink]

There are a few threads on the forum about modifying existing clamps to fit but most are a bit of a cludge. If you want the real deal that works easily then in the US there ia an alternative to the real Festool ones for the screw clamps. Bessey makes the Festool clamps but the Festool exclusive deal must have expired because they now market the same clamps in Bessey red instead of Festool Grey and Green.

The bessey's run about $40USD for 2 as opposed to Festool's $46USD. So even at regular price they are a bit cheaper. But the Bessey's can be had by using discounts and coupons unlike the Festool fixed prices.

zoro.com carries the Bessey clamps and they currently have a working 20%off coupon. So it's $64 bucks for 4 clamps with free shipping over $50 versus $92 for 4 of the Festool clamps.

Here's the coupon code for 20% off:

SHOWER3 Expires 6/11/2018

Zoro is a part of Grainger and a great group to deal with.

For the quick clamps, the pricing on the bessey clamps and the Festool ones are about the same.
