Clarke Bandit IV 8 Litre compressor & Axminster pin nailer question

I was tempted by the Senco PC1010, but it's a bit too weedy for what I may want to do with it. I've just sold a large compressor that I never really used because it was just a bit too big to move about and be useful - there are way too many obstacles in the space defined loosely as a workshop here, so even though it had wheels, it ended up being buried.

The Clarke one seems to be about 16kg which is liftable, and appears powerful enough to still use a lot of my leftover accessories on, whereas the Senco wouldn't have had a chance with a tyre inflater for example.

Ideally I needed something I could drag into the house for finishing nailing (tool-net are doing a deal on this with a finish nailer and coil etc.) plus use in the workshop for headless nails 23 or 24ga.

So, what do people think?

Whilst I have your attention, the Axminster 24ga headless pinner gets brilliant reviews, so was going to grab one of those, but nowhere seems to sell the 24ga pins (that I can find). Axminster sell them, but the only review of them says they're rubbish and that the guy got a refund after pointing out to Axminster that they bend before going through the workpiece. Any ideas?

Hi Wuffles,
I have one , had it a good few years now , so it may not be the mk4.  Its bomb proof, its used, abused and still going strong  my only comment is it a little top heavy so you need to secure it upright if its in a van.

Awesome John, just what I wanted to hear.

Changed the subject to include my other question, and bumping in case the right person missed it.

Arrived the other day and it's like a compact version of what I had before, but much easier to move. Came with an 18ga nailer/stapler too, which works very well.

Just need to figure out if it'll be man enough for a die grinder for small bursts and a framing nailer - then I can sell some more stuff I have in battery/gas format.
