I purchased a soft polishing pad for my rotex 150 with the intention of removing polish and wax from our cars.  At $9 apiece, they aren't one and done disposable.  How does one go about cleaning them for another day?

I haven't tried the Festool pads yet but I have done a lot of buffing and I use a wheel spur and I have washed pads in Woolite

let me clarify.  I'm talking about part #485972, the soft felt pad.  Not the sponges.

I clean my foam pads that I use for buffing my truck with Dawn dish washing liquid.  It works for the felt as well, just treat them gently and make sure to rinse thoroughly when done.

To clean the Lamb's Wool Bonnet (I learned the hard way >:() DO NOT REMOVE IT FROM THE BACKING PAD. Use Woolite or something similiar and handwash in the sink with a fingernail brush. If you remove the bonnet and wash it separately it will shrink and you won't be able to reuse it.
