cleaning glue off bar clamps

What's the best way to clean glue off of bar and parallel clamps?  I have years worth of old glue on the bars themselves that makes sliding the moving head problematic.  It's almost all Titebond III.

just did a search... amazing what  you can find when you search first  I'll use a heat gun and wire brush and see if that works.

I actually did some maintenance on all my parallel clamps a week ago and I used a wire brush attachment on my angle grinder and it made quick work of the old caked up glue.

I gave my C18 with a wire brush wheel a good workout.  Pretty much took it right off.  Should have done this years ago.
