Cleaning Lambswool and Sponge pads

Hi all,
I’m loving my Rotex 150 and get really good finishes for my epoxy and wood work. What still puzzles me is how to clean the Lambswool and, in my case, the orange sponge properly.
I have used the Festool Compound (orange), Bees Wax, Carnauba Wax and Odie’s Oil.
I have just ordered a Spur Tool for the Lambswool and a Foam Pad Brush on Amazon, but it will take 2 weeks to deliver to Australia. Has anybody used those tools instead of a wet cleaning approach?
Your help is much appreciated.

When I refinished my floor with Waterlox over a period of three days, I simply wrapped the pad in a plastic bag overnight and it was fine to use the following day.

When I was done, I tossed the pad.

But if I wanted to use a pad frequently, that would not work.
