I'm guessing the difference in these products are the new T-Loc connector on the Dust Extractors, the new capacity batteries on the T Drills and the new pads on the sanders?

Still a good opportunity until the next 'sale'.  [cool]

What's the upgrade on the ETS-150 sanders ?
Is it just the T-loc systainer?

Festoolviking

I think from another post it's the new pads.

So are they only now getting the 17 hole multi jet stream in NA? Or is it a further enhancement on that?

No its an even newer type of pad.  ETS Fusion-Tec pads.  http://www.festoolusa.com/search/?q=Fusio+tec

'Sorry to be so slow to this...

The CT MINI and CT MIDI have been redesigned for T-Loc or Classic Systainers on the Sys-Dock. They also come with a different hose, the 32mm to 27mm tapered hose.

As was stated above, the ETS 150/3 and ETS 150/5 come with the new Fusion-Tec Pads.

The drills have the new, slimmer charger (TCL-3) and 4.2 Ah batteries. They also come in a SYS 2 instead of a SYS 1 with the exception of the TI 15 Basic, which comes in a SYS 3.

With the T18-3 being listed, does that mean that the T18 is getting replaced by the Quaddrive PDC?

The battery is going up in capacity from 3.0 Ah to 4.2 Ah and the charger is getting upgraded to the newer slim model. Also, the Systainer is going from a SYS 1 to a SYS 2.

Unfortunately, I live out in the mountains of Idaho, 3 hours from the closest dealer.  I try to support them as much as I can but I only get there about 3 or 4 times a year.  Logistically, I end up having to make many purchases for tools, and lots of general household items through Amazon.  I could return it to Amazon, but the postage would chew up most of the price difference.  It would be different if the drill had been defective; but that wasn't the case.

is there any specs about the difference in batteries? I am sure longer run time but what about weight? also could I use the new t15 batteries on my c15

I just wanted to issue a follow-up to this post.  I emailed Amazon customer service and because the drill was delivered within 7 days of the price change on the T18 they issued me a credit for the 10%.  [big grin]

I suspect that the batteries are heavier now unless there's a performance improvement that gives them more capacity without adding weight. I'll do some comparisons and post the results.

You can use the new T 15 batteries on your C 15 if it is a Li-Ion version.

Yes and no...

It is still active if you can find old stock. Mine is gone.
