Have finally taken the plunge having spent much time reading on the forum and having received some helpful advice from forum members who were very patient with a newbie to woodworking - Thanks!
Ended up getting
TS55
MFT3
OF1400
CMS with modules for TS55 and OF 1400
CTL22
Spent most of the day putting it all together trying to see how it all works. All in all really happy with most of it but have a concern over two parts
OF router module for CMS - The module base plate itself is very flat but the fence for the router table is not. If I put a straight line against it I can see daylight in the middle of the fence running all the way along (enough to get a piece of paper in there, nearly two) In addition the fence has a Chanel running along it just below the top, the upper part of the fence is not parallel with the rest of it such that a straight edge against this it gives me a gap of a mm or more at the bottom edge.
TS55 module for CMS - The module base plate as a dip in the middle when placing a ruler along either axis (enough for three piece's of paper and this is even before I have attached the saw)
My first instinct is that this is outside of acceptable tolerances and that I should take them back to the shop for a replacement but before I make an idiot of myself and get told that it won't make a difference to the cut I wanted to get some advice from those in the know.
I understand that many will not have the CMS as it is NAINA but I would be interested in your views and also those of you in the UK who do have the CMS and have been so helpful with your advice so far.
Cheers
Graham
