Hello all.  Recently picked up CMS-GE setup from craigslist and as usual it was missing few odds and ends.  I ordered those from festool and everything seems to be in order.  I did notice in the 4 corners of the CMS-GE there is a piece of tape.  According to ekat its part 485333 Cushioning device
Its listed as $18.60 per part.  My question is it 4 pieces or single piece is $18.60?  The ones i have are all gunked up with dust and I'm thinking of replacing them.
any other tape i can use instead?

Also I'm still aligning everything I maybe possibly have a little dip in the CMS-OF plate.  are there any steps to level it to the rest of the CMS-GE? haven't found anything in the manual about it. Here is a picture of the “cushioning device” lol

And here is the entire thing

I just used gaff tape.  It's not critical.  It just eliminates the noise when you set the plate in place.

I used several pieces (cut small) of aluminum duct tape to dial it in so that the plate was flush.  Add one; take a measurement.  Add another if necessary.  In 7-8 years, I've not had to replace the aluminum pieces at all.  [smile]

perfect.  Thank you

I replaced the clear plastic pads that seemed to fall off with the aluminum duct tape pads in exactly the same locations.  No muss; no fuss!  [smile]
