cms of cover

so from reading some reviews on sawdust getting in the ratchet on the of2200 when used in the cms

so i got mine today i noticed the cover plate is solid over the ratchet spindle is this something new? i was expecting there to be a hole that sawdust gets in?

Hi Speed,

There may not be a hole in it, but the dust will still get into the spindle, just blow it out with compressed air. Its not a new design , that you have. [smile]

Like John said it ain't new!    I have forgotten a couple times to put the round plate on, had dust everywhere in the gaps just dusted it off  [embarassed]. As of yet not had a problem with my ratchet.
